And my slow descent into madness...and Sound Design too.

Well, I don't know where to start really, basically the same as when I had my first scene from this movie. A blank session with the first 9 minutes of film where ahead of me, and I didn't even had 1 sound effect in my library...let's begin with the film that started it all: Coco.

February 2018, me and my other thesis colleagues had picked Coco to sound re-design and re do all the music from the film...it wasn't our best idea but the sole thing of having to wrap our minds around the fact that we had to re do basically all the soundtrack was in-sane, but we tried our best effort...for like 3 months at least...
3 months passed, and we only had 5 minutes of barely done music, and nothing else, the project was stagnant and we started hating the film itself (although the music and story are soo goood omg...).
Enter Akira.
One of us spat out the idea that we could do this film instead, having watched the film twice previously and having read the manga from Katsuhiro Ōtomo I immediately said yes, we had until December to deliver the final soundtrack (50 minutes of film) so we had 9 months, enough time right?...
...right?
